WHAT IS EMULIPS?

Answer

It is a food supplement developed by experts that enhances digesting of fats. It transforms fats intaken with food into an emulsified form that is easy to digest and significantly helps to facilitate its digesting. It is a preventive preparation against gallbladder stones. As all OKG products, also Emulips is registered with MZ ?R and SZÚ Praha as a food supplement under number OVZ-350-14.4.2006. Its quality has been verified in laboratories of Health Institute. By course of law on food this quality is continually tested in accredited laboratories.

HOW IS EMULIPS USED?

Answer

We recommend to use it after a meal, for instance on a piece of bread with dosage of 0.5 ml (some 10 drops) - adults 1-3 times a day, children under the age of 3 once a day. When using it once a day a package of 50ml will last up to 100 days. Emulips can be used as prevention for the whole year without any restrictions. Even multiple overdosing represents no risk for the organism.

CAN ANYBODY USE EMULIPS?

Emulips is a food supplement, so it is safe. We can also recommend it for the most common diets - for people with diabetes, bilious diet and cardio-vascular diseases. It is not for children under the age of three! Pregnant women or nursing mothers and seriously ill people should consult the use with their doctor. Every organism may react differently and not everybody might achieve the same results with Emulips - it depends on many factors. Emulips can be a suitable supportive treatment agent for many illnesses, although it is not a medicine but a food supplement. Even a higher dose of this food supplement cannot damage your health.

WHAT ARE "FREE RADICALS"?

The latest research shows that free radicals are one of the greatest dangers for living organisms. They are created in the organism as a by-product of substance exchange in cells, eventually penetrate it from the outside environment. They damage the ectoplasm, destroy DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) and they are the cause of general decadence that goes together with the aging process and with other disorders. Free radicals play an important role in creation of lung and cardiac diseases and they are as significant factor causing cancer. Immunity is above all an ability of the organism to eliminate effectively such radicals. If we see the aging process as an oxidation, then antioxidants act against aging. They cannot stop it but can slow it dramatically. The research has shown that beneficial effects of antioxidants lie right in neutralizing free radicals. The organism of an individual weakened by an illness or an older person or somebody who eats junk and plain food produces less antioxidants and thence leaves enough space for harmful operating of free radicals. Negative in a similar way can be polluted environment, food polluted with chemicals and drinkable water, stress, TV or PC radiation, etc. For older people, people living in cities and sportsmen the consumption of antioxidants is essential. WHAT IS "FATS (LIPID) EMULSIFICATION"?

Fats emulsification is a process in which a dissolution of immiscible liquid in another (e.g. oil in water) takes place, which is similar to a situation when we wash and remove grease from our hands with soap. In this case soap helps dissolve grease in water. In a similar way act salts of bile acid in alimentary tract. Fats intaken in food go through the mouth and stomach virtually unchanged. First step of the process of metabolism of fats is its emulsification with the help of gall. On the quality of the created emulsion and its absorption respectively, depends not only the utilization of fats but also of lipofile vitamins (vitamins A, D, E and K) and some essential fatty acids dissolvable in fats.

IS IT TRUE THAT THE LESS FATS OUR FOOD CONTAINS, THE BETTER?

No, it is not. To suppose that we can completely exclude fats from our food would be not only naive, but also unhealthy. The body needs a certain amount of fats for correct function of physiologic processes. Fats that we have come to regard as an enemy, is indispensable for life. We can never, not even when on diet, leave fats out because they help the body absorb some elements, they are source of vitamins (vitamins A, D, E and K only dissolve in fats) and they supply the organism with essential fatty acids the body itself is not able to produce. What is more, ironically, fats enhance the slimming procedure, if you can use them well.

WHAT'S THE ORIGIN OF GALLSTONES? (part I)

Answer

Occurrence of gallstones is actually a measure of food unwholesomeness (large intake of fats, cholesterol and calcium, limited intake of fibres and magnesium), eventually of unhealthy lifestyle (eating not so often and in large portions). Gall is produced by liver permanently and it accumulates in gall-bladder (up to a tenfold concentration of gall can occur here). It is released in digesting system on the way of the food into the stomach. Irregular eating boosts creation of gall stones - gall is not continually secreted from its depot in the gallbladder and so gall stones might be created. Consuming food rich in fats also enhances creation of gallstones. Cholesterol created in the liver by the process transformation of fats intaken with food might create a base for gallstones. If the gall contain a lot of cholesterol of if we intake a larger amount of cholesterol with food, it might coagulate and create dissolvable crystals. If they are not quickly transferred into duodenum, they grow and create gallstones. Stones in gallbladder can be solitary, bigger or smaller, but also multiple. These are more dangerous since they can get out of the gallbladder into gall-pipes and block them and cause a colic.
